1. Levi

Levi is easily one of the goodest boys around. He’s 4 years old and weighs around 60 pounds, making him the ideal pup for anyone looking for a mid-sized to large dog. Even more, Levi’s is as dependable as a pair of sturdy jeans (see what I did there?) and is ALWAYS down for an adventure. With his age, size, and temperament, Levi makes for a wonderful adventure buddy who has endless energy and is perfectly down for whatever you plan on doing that day. Whether it be snuggling or hiking a trail, Levi is ready to rock! There isn’t any breed information posted for Levi, but we can make a few assumptions. First, we can probably assume he is a type of mixed breed, simply because of his mishmash of various traits. The good thing? Mixed-breed dogs are often healthier and more genetically robust than purebred dogs! Judging from Levi’s eyes and body type, he could potentially have some husky, pit bull, Catahoula, border collie, or Aussie shepherd. Since he’s short-coated and has a triangular head, he’s probably a pitty mix! Pitties don’t shed a lot, are extremely lovable, and make for some of the best family companions in the entire world.

2. Udon (the Noodle King)

The Noodle King reigns supreme! Little Udon is an absolutely adorable little boy looking for just the right home. He loves to play, especially when it involves kiddie pools or a romp in the yard. Udon (otherwise known as Udi) is on the small to medium side of things, although iheartdogsrescue doesn’t have his exact measurements listed. Still, the photos they included should give you some idea! There isn’t any breed information listed for Udi, but we can again make some assumptions. First, he’s a smaller dog, but he seems to have a lot of energy! If you are looking for a pup that has the perfect mix of play without dipping too much into “extremely energetic” territory, Udi may be great for you. He has a short coat, meaning his shedding will be less noticeable than other breeds. An important note is that Udi would do best in a home with no babies or other dogs!

3. Ernest

Ernest may just be the cutest boy on our list. This little fella is still a puppy and is a 7-month-old Boston Terrier mix! This 33-pound bundle of joy is absolutely adorable in every way. He loves treats but knows that he needs to wait patiently for them. If you’re looking for a fetch buddy, Ernest is ready and willing to oblige! Even more, he’s great with kids and dogs, and might even be good with cats (he just hasn’t been introduced yet). As a Boston Terrier mix, Ernest is good-natured and endlessly playful. Since he’s relatively small, too, he’s a great snuggle bug and does great with apartment living. They are well-known to get along with other animals and kids, although they don’t make great guard dogs since they are so loving to almost everyone they meet.

4. Fawn

If you have a weakness for doe-eyes, DO NOT look at any of these photos of Fawn. If you have already seen her, we’re sorry for using psychological tactics on you (no we aren’t). Fawn is an absolute cutie that is as adorable as she is timid, but she’s ready to win your heart over. She’s only 6 years old and weighs 40 pounds, although she could probably put on some more weight. Since she’s a bit timid, a calm home that can give her some confidence would be ideal. Fawn is a medium-sized hound mix. Hound mixes are wonderful dogs that can trace their lineage to various hunting and trapping breeds that can be found all over the world. The exact hound breed will have a lot to do with the exact temperament of a dog, but it’s generally safe to say that a houndy dog will be agile, inquisitive, and ready for adventure any time of the day!

5. Yara

Have you ever seen a smile like Yara’s? This wonderful pup is 10 years old and is looking for a family that loves her as much as she will love them! Yara is a pit mix and absolutely loves going on walks, adventures, and especially cuddling. Even more, she has lived with children and cats and loves to be around both! Well-rounded pups like Yara aren’t everywhere, so make you let Foot Hills Animal Shelter know if you would be interested! As a pit mix, Yara is probably between 35-50 lbs and has a short coat. Although pit bulls have a reputation for being aggressive, Yara doesn’t fit that bill at all. Pit bulls are loving, cuddly, and can even be open to strangers. The vast majority of issues with pit bulls (or any dog, really) occur when they aren’t raised in a loving and caring home.
